Shower Steamers
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
8 oz. Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)
4 oz. Citric Acid
7-10 drops of essential oils
Witch Hazel
Three 4 oz. disc or similar molds
Instructions:
Into your mixing bowl, add the citric acid and baking soda. Combine well with a whisk.
Add your essential oils. Use your whisk or hands to ensure the ingredients are fully mixed.
If the mixture is too dry, spray the mixture with Witch Hazel Distillate.
Test the shower steamer consistency by squeezing a little bit of the mixture in the palm of your hand and releasing it into the bowl. Does the mixture stay compact and in shape or does it crumble? If it's the former, the mixture is ready to mold. If it's the latter, spray a little Witch Hazel Distillate and try again.
Fill your molds with the mixture a little at a time using some pressure.
Gently release the shower steamer from the mold and place it on your counter. Allow to dry for 24-48 hours.
