My husband and I had a great time learning to make soap. It was very informative and they were very patient with us. It was an extremely organized event, held at our local B-52 Brewery. The instructors provided many scents and colors for us to choose. Neither of us knew how to make soap before the event, and we had no clue it takes 8 weeks for soap to cure. The loaves have been sliced and bars are still curing. One loaf is vanilla scent, the other is lemon scent, and the room smells fabulous!!! We hope to do this again one day.
So glad I took the trip to learn to make soap. The lesson was very well organized and great fun. My wonderful smelling soap is curing and I look forward to sharing with family and friends.
I love the soap. The choices she gave for smell color texture were very nice. Thanks for all you did. I would have liked be able to participate or observe the making, blending or whatever was done when heating the oil. Also some boutique items from the farm like t shirts products etc would have nice for purchase. I would have lied to had a t shirt with the goat on it or an apron.
We had so much fun and will do it again. Great people.
